“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves…” 2 Timothy 3:1-2
The Bible teaches us that the chief reason that we will have difficult times in the last days is because of the fact that men will be lovers of themselves and lovers of pleasure more than they will be lovers of God. This is a part of the satanic strategy for the last days. As the church, we must be aware of this and not allow this kind of selfishness to creep into the church. We are called by God through Jesus Christ to put on display the love and unselfishness of our Father. We are to show all that we are the disciples of Jesus Christ by the love that we show each other and by the ministry of reconciliation that we make available to the world. Keep your guard up: practice love and stand against selfishness.
