Build It On The Rock
“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the foods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” Matthew 7:24-27
Be a doer of the Word! Every time that we act on the things that we are told in the Bible, it contributes to the strength of the house called our life. Storms will come. The storms however, are not what will destroy our lives. It is the lack of ability of our lives to stand up against the storms that allows destruction to happen. No matter how strong the storms are; no matter how difficult the challenges, if your life is founded upon obedience to the Word of God, the storm will pass, and when it does, your house will be standing…it will not fall!
