Which Way Do I Go?
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12
Choices, choices, choices, life is filled with choices. The way in which we are assured of making the right choices is based on our dependency upon the Lord and His Word. Aside from that, there may be many things that look good and look like the choices to make. However, what looks and seems good is not always right. Two primary things will always be important in our decision-making process as God’s people. One, we must be ever increasing in our knowledge of the Scriptures. In them the Holy Spirit reveals to us the principles of right and wrong living. We must learn the things that lead to life and not death. Secondly, we must develop the kind of fellowship with the Spirit of God in which we can understand the way that He desires to lead us in our decision making process. He has exact answers and perfect directions to offer us and He always leads in the way of life and the best will of God. Both of these go hand-in-hand. So, search the Scriptures daily and as you do, you will continue to gain knowledge of the paths that are right in God’s eyes. You will also develop an inner sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and how He would guide you through the knowledge of the Word of God.
