 You Have Been Chosen

“According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.” Ephesians 1:4

Do you realize that you have been chosen by God and that you are “somebody” in His eyes? And that not only have you “been” chosen, but you have been chosen in Christ; and you have been chosen in Him before the foundation, before the overthrow of the world? And you have been chosen as one who is holy and without blame before Him in love. You see, our position in Jesus Christ is not something that God came up with about two thousand years ago at the Cross. We were in His heart way before everything in this present system ever got started. Our present position in Christ is based on what the Father saw us to be before man ever fell. Wow! So He sees us holy and without blame before Himself, in love. This is the way we have to see ourselves. When we see things through the Father’s eyes, all insecurity, inferiority and low-life thinking about ourselves goes on a one-way trip away from us, never to return. The Holy Spirit is working with us to bring clarity to the eyes of our hearts that we may see ourselves as the Father sees us – in Christ.
