Silence The Critics

“For so is the will of God, that with well-doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.” 1 Peter 2:15

Today when people criticize or speak evil of you or slander you for being “righteous”, make up your mind that you will fight your battle not by getting into strife or spending countless words attempting to justify yourself but by doing good. God knows His business. Doing the right thing in the midst of people speaking evil of you has an amazing effect on those who criticize you. Don’t concern yourself with vindication; the Lord will do that for you. Don’t consider trying to get revenge; the Lord will handle that as well.
