“With my soul have I desired Thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek Thee early: for when Thy judgments are I the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.”
So many times in our own desire to receive the Lord’s blessing and see Him move in our lives, we get caught up in selfishness and forget that the Father has dreams of His own that He would like to see accomplished; and He wants to include us in the working out of His dreams and visions. I believe very firmly that we need to train ourselves to think like this every day. The Father certainly does love us and is committed to our good, however, we must keep in mind that we are in a relationship with the Creator of the universe; it is two-sided. Let’s commit ourselves to being conscious of what the Father’s desires are. Let’s bring some joy into His life by purposing to fulfill His dreams.
