NOVEMBER 26

Staying Clean In A Dirty World

“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1

This world that we are living in is full of contaminants; full of things that would try to keep us from living godly lives. As Believer’s we must stay clean from these contaminants. If we allow carnal filth in our lives, then we must take the promises of God and cleanse ourselves. Notice this Scripture tells us exactly what to do. Whatever the area that we are dealing with, we must find the Word of God that applies to it and then wash ourselves. Of course, the cleansing agents that we have are the Word of God, the Name and the blood of Jesus, God’s promise to be a Father to us as we separate ourselves from uncleanness and the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God working together. We should begin our day by fortifying ourselves with the Word of God and if necessary, cleanse ourselves as the day goes on. Keep yourself clean.
