NOVEMBER 25

Calm Down!

“And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative). [giving praise to God always].” Colossians 3:15 The Amplified Bible

There is no need for a Believer to be shaken, upset or nervous over anything that would arise in this life here on earth. When we truly know that Jesus is Lord, there is a peace that will settle down on the inside of us and keep us from being troubled or anxious. That peace must be allowed to have its place in us and as we allow it to, it will act as an umpire in our hearts guiding us exactly in the way that we should go. The next time that you are tempted to be worried, troubled, anxious or overly excited in a negative way about anything, CALM DOWN and let the peace of God rule.
