The Lord Will Provide

“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” Matthew 6:26

Many times in life, Christian people show concern as to whether or not God will help them in the practical things of life; things such as food, clothing, shelter and the basic necessities of life. Here is something to consider: any earthly parent who truly is in love with their children will not see them go without the basic things that they need to live. If we will provide these things for our children, how much more should we have confidence in the fact that our Father in heaven will provide us with the things that we need. He will never be outdone by any earthly man or woman. And since He already knows what we need before we even ask Him, we should simply obey Him and trust that He will do what He said. He WILL provide what we need!
