“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:8
What a joy it must have been to God’s heart when Isaiah responded to the Lord’s voice and said, “Here am I, send me.” The Lord is very simply looking for people who are available through whom He can work. Talent and ability are wonderful, but they are not the major criteria that He is looking for when it comes to finding people to do His work. There is much to be done for the kingdom of God on this earth and in comparison to the amount of work that needs to be done, there are few laborers. It would be a wonderful thing for the ears of the Father to hear you say (and mean), “Lord, here I am, send me. Work your will through me in whatever way you need. I am available to you, in Jesus’ Name.”
