Wealth With Purpose

“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God; for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto they fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

It is important for us to understand that God supplies power for His people to get wealth for the major purpose of establishing His covenant. That means two specific things. One, God empowers us to get wealth so that the world may see that we are blessed and highly favored by God. He wants to show the rest of the world that He treats His people as those who are special. Secondly, He empowers His people to get wealth so that they can declare the righteous Gospel of a righteous God Who desires every man in every nation to become His righteousness in Christ Jesus. These two things actually go hand in hand. As we get our priorities correct in this area, we will see more power from God released to us in this area.
