Is There Any Sick Among You?
“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” James 5:14, 15.
There are many times that we as believers don’t experience the results that we should from the Word of God very simply because we don’t follow instructions. If a believer is sick and needs help, the Bible tells him who to call. Many times believers will call everyone but the elders of the church. They’ll call the doctor first or someone else instead of first following the instructions from the Word. Lets act in faith, first, on the instructions that God gives us.
