Approaching Tests and Trials
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:2-4
How do you approach the tests and the trials that come your way? James tells us how we are to do this and what we are to expect. When we fall into various trials, we are to rejoice because we know that the trying of our faith will produce endurance. And when we allow endurance to have its perfect work, we will be perfect and entire lacking nothing. Rejoicing triggers endurance, a steadfastness that will bring us to the place of being complete. If you want to work your way through a test and trial victoriously, follow God’s instructions.
