You Belong To Someone Else
“What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20
One of the most challenging things for us to deal with is the fact that we are not our own. A price has been paid for us…the life and blood of Jesus Christ! The salvation that we have cost God everything; and it cost us everything, too. The Father gave His only begotten Son; the Son laid aside all that He possessed throughout eternity; and we give up our lives for the glory of the One Who gave Himself for us. Remember: you and I are here to glorify God.
