Be At Rest
“For we which have believed do enter into rest…”
Hebrews 4:3
Guess what? The struggle is over! Whatever it is that we as God’s people might need, it has already been provided and made available through the finished work of Christ. And because of that, we can settle into the place of thanking and praising God for taking care of all of the needs in our lives. We are not struggling to be blessed; we do not need to try to work up a blessing. Our faith is to rest in the fact that God has already provided. So each day that we get up, we make ourselves available to the Father – to worship and serve Him and meet the needs of mankind by the power and love of the Holy Spirit. As part of our worship to Him we offer thanksgiving and praise to God for His blessing in our lives.
