If Any Man Sin
“My little children, these things write I unto you that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” 1 John 2:1
The Apostle John, by the Holy Spirit declares to us why he wrote what he wrote: so that we do not sin. There is power in the revelation of this New Testament, that through the power of the word of God we can live without sin. Continual fellowship with the Father is a very vital element of walking free from sin. IF, and I reiterate if (just because the Bible emphasizes it) we sin, we have an advocate in Jesus Christ the righteous Who will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It is time for us to change our consciousness from that of being dominated by sin to that of being dominated by righteousness so that we are able, by the power of God, to live victoriously over sin.
