Acknowledging The Good
“That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” Philemon 6
As Believers, the sharing of our faith becomes powerful and effective as we give voice to all the good things the Father has placed in us through our union with Christ Jesus. There is just something about hearing all of these good things that causes each hearer to be encouraged. When we acknowledge that we are righteous, holy, joint-heirs with Christ, God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus, more than conquerors through Him that loved us and things such as these, we encourage one another to press on in the things of God and we encourage one another to believe that the God Who is in us (and who He has made us in Christ) is bigger than any situation or circumstance that could ever come against us. When we do this, we change the very atmosphere around us from one of defeat to victory, from sadness to joy and from hopelessness to expectancy. Make up your mind to be the bearer of some good news – acknowledge the good!
