The Strait and Narrow Way
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
Matthew 7:13, 14
Don’t think it a strange thing that you are being challenged because you are attempting to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Walking in the things that pertain to the life of God –righteousness, holiness, love, health and the power of God — do not come easy. It takes much diligence and a willingness to apply oneself wholeheartedly and constantly to the Word, prayer and fellowship with God. The pathway that Jesus spoke of is challenging which is the reason that not many find it. Stick with it…don’t be a quitter.
