No Sulking

“It is when we are in a sulky frame of mind that the devil has his greatest opportunity.” Ephesians 4:27 J.W.C. Wand

Have you ever (I know you have) had something happen that didn’t go the way that you had planned and you got upset, began to pout, sulk and enter into self pity? And then after that everything began to go wrong! Sulkiness is an open door that the enemy takes full advantage of in our lives. It is like opening a door and inviting him in. When you are faced with the opportunity to sulk, pout and become sour and get into self pity, resist it quickly and begin to praise the Lord. Don’t give satan any “free opportunities” to express himself in your life.

Scripture reading: James 4:7; Ephesians 6:10-18
