“If You Do These Things…”
“Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.” 2 Peter 1:10
Second Peter chapter one verses one through seven teach us of the attributes of the divine nature. We are told that through exceedingly great and precious promises we become partakers of the divine nature. The way to keep from stumbling, backsliding or falling is to partake of the divine nature by having these qualities abounding in us. IF we will take time to investigate 2 Peter 1:1-7 and incorporate these qualities of the divine nature into our lives through the renewing of our minds, we will never stumble.
