DECEMBER 29: Praise Him All Day Long

“From the rising of sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.” Psalm 113:3

Saints, we have a living, loving Father Who is worthy of all praise and adoration because of Who He is and what He has done for us. Praise, worship and adoration of Him should be evident in our lives all day long. His name is to be praised from sunrise to sunset. You may not realize it, and yet, you may. The Hebrew word for “praised”, as used in this verse, is the word “halal.” Some of its meanings are to be clear, to shine, to boast, to be clamorously foolish, to make a show. So, all day long the Lord’s name is to be “halalled.” This is where “hallelujah” comes from. So, all day long we are to hallelujah the name of the Lord. We are to boast about His name, make a show be clamorously foolish, shine and just plain ol’ brag about the name of the Lord. Follow the Scriptures today. If you do, you won’t have time to let life get you down. The name of the Lord will swell up in your circumstances.
