Remember…Pray For The Preachers

“And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” Ephesians 6:19-20.

We need to remember to pray for those who are responsible for bringing revelation to the body of Christ and the message of salvation to the world. There is a divine connection that has to be made amongst The Holy Spirit, the preacher and those who hear the Word as it is taught and preached. Prayer for the preachers as offered by the saints is a vital part of that connection. In order for the man or woman who preaches to make a “God-connection” with the people he or she is delivering the Word to, that preacher must be prayed for. Prayer offered correctly will assure us of two things: that the preacher has utterance and that he will deliver the mystery of the gospel with boldness. Remember this today and every day: your prayers for the preachers play a vital role in the Word of God going forth in the world.
