There Is Always A Way Out

“There hath not temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 12:13

Maybe the enemy is up to his old tricks in your life today; bringing back to your remembrance some past sin or weakness of the flesh in your life that you used to indulge in. The pressure upon you to yield may seem so strong that you cannot see any possible way of not giving in. Guess what? You don’t have to give in! God has already prepared your escape route. In these kinds of situations we need to follow the example that Jesus set for us in the Garden of Gethsemane. He went to the Father in prayer to draw upon Strength that would keep Him from giving in. Always remember that the real you, the spirit, is willing to resist; it is the flesh that is weak. So, when the flesh is weak, it is time to get before the Father in prayer so that He may show you your way of escape.
