Trust In His Mercy

“But I have trusted in Thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation. I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.” Psalm 13:5-6

If there ever is an aspect of our fellowship with the Father we should always be mindful of (and the Father wants us to be mindful of), it is His mercy towards us. We need it! When everything else in our faith life may seem to be producing nothing, run to the mercy of the Father. One of the meanings of the word mercy in the Hebrew means “to bow the neck in courtesy as to an equal.” God shows His mercy to us by coming down to us on whatever level we are on in order to bring us up to where He is; and the thing about it is He is yearning to do it. Give the Father the opportunity today to show you His mercy.
