AUGUST 23

Your Words are Your Meal

“A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:20, 21

What we say with our mouths has a great effect upon our lives. As a matter of fact, what we say serves as the food that we will eat concerning the direction of our lives. Your belly – or your inward being – will be satisfied with what you say with your mouth. And then over time it will produce either the outward manifestations of death or life. Let’s be wise from today onward. Put the Word of God in our mouths today and fill our inward man with the good things of the kingdom of God.
