Look Out For The House of God

“Then came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet saying, Is it time for you to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste? Now therefore, thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.

Haggai 1:3-5

As the people of God we need to be mindful of what is needful to keep the “house of God” going at full capacity. We should not become so wrapped up in our own houses that we forget that the kingdom of God and its functioning out of the local church is a very high priority. Both our money and our service is necessary. If we will keep God’s things first, we will be assured of the fact that God will help us with our houses.

Scripture reading: Haggai 1-3; Malachi 3:8-12; Romans 12
