APRIL 25

At All Times

“I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1

This Scripture teaches us that we are to have something going on continuously and at all times. We are to bless the Lord at all times. The word “bless” is from the Hebrew word “barak” which means to kneel, to adore or to congratulate. We should always be in “adoration mode” towards the Lord. The word “praise” is from the Hebrew word “tehillah” which means to sing a hymn (this word comes from the word halal, from which we get hallelujah). Singing hallelujah should be a continuous thing with us.

Scripture reading: 2 Chronicles 20; Psalm 150
