Stay Salty
“Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.”
Luke 14:34, 35
Maintaining our ability to season and to sting when necessary are truly our responsibilities. It is based on our willingness to be a disciple of the Lord. If we follow His leading, we will be leading holy, righteous and godly lives in the present evil age. That is the quality of living that causes us to be salty. If we compromise our godly way of life and live as the world does, then we lose our salty influence. Our desire every day should be to make sin and unrighteousness uncomfortable in our presence.
