AUGUST 29: What’s In Your Diet?


“But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

Your inner man is hungry for something; and it’s not the latest movie, the latest novel or the television program that everyone is raving about. Your inner man is hungry for the Word of God. Jesus stresses to us the importance of feeding on the Word of God in such way that He tells us that our lives are not sustained entirely on the natural food that we eat; implying that the Word of God will also have an effect on our natural being as well. Don’t starve the man on the inside by paying so much attention to what’s on the outside.
